Suddenly, it’s the fourth quarter of 2020 and like everything else this year, I find it hard to believe!  Despite the chaos and disruption that manifested itself in the second quarter of the year, Team Volusia staff never broke stride.   In this newsletter, we take a look back on the third quarter activity in digest form. West Volusia County, Florida USA - It has been less than a year since the news that a more than one million square foot Amazon fulfillment center would locate in the City of Deltona in west Volusia County. Currently, Amazon is hiring for its fulfillment center with plans to create more than 500 new, full-time jobs generating capital investment exceeding $100 million. Job postings are currently online www.amazondelivers.jobs and hiring will begin over the next couple of weeks.

One of our founding Board members at Team Volusia, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has been named as one of the Top Contributors to economic activity in Volusia County.
The City of Deltona boasts seven EcoParks - undeveloped swaths of land - that are open to the public, with six more on the way. These parks allow access to habitats ranging from hardwood swamp to sand hill scrub, enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
